Weekly update:
Let’s start with a quick update on CoronaVirus status as of today:
In India at present there are 31,93,000 COvid19 cases and the good news is 24,27000 have recovered.
Going ahead, are you wondering whether the school and college will start anytime sooner? According to the reports, the ministry of home affairs may take decision on reopening of the schools and colleges from September 1. Well, we have to wait and watch for the guidelines that will be issued very soon.
With the central government planning to conduct JEE and NEET exams, many students and parents are urging the government to postpone the exams due to Covid19. Today, Climate Change campaigner Greta Tunberg, has extended her support to Indian students who are asking for the postponement of exams. In her tweet she says – “Its deeply unfair that students of India are asked to sit for exams during the Covid-19 pandemic and millions have also been impacted by the extreme floods. I stand with their call to postpone JEE and NEET exams.” Greta is 17 years old and from Sweden is a well known environmental activist.
NEET exams are conducted for admission for undergraduate courses of government medical colleges and JEE for admission to IITs and NITs. The government has decided to conduct the examination in September, that is next month.

She spent many years in Calcutta, India where she founded the Missionaries of Charity, a religious congregation devoted to helping those in great need. In 1979, Mother Teresa was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize and became a symbol of charitable, selfless work. In 2016, Mother Teresa was canonised by the Roman Catholic Church as Saint Teresa.
