Football lovers… gear up to a big feast for the next one month. Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) world Cup 2018, international football tournament is set to kick off today at 8.30 pm (India time). Scheduled to take place in Russia, the matches will continue till July 15, 2018. This is the first tournament to be held in Eastern Europe and is the most expensive football championship held so far budgeted at US$11.8-14 billion.

Held once in 4 years, 32 teams across the world will be competing for the prestigious trophy. Host Russia will take on Saudi Arabia team in the opener match today. Click here to know more about the match schedules.
